You can email artwork to us if the file is less than 50Mb to sales@ppcarlisle.co.uk. Larger files over 50Mb can be sent free using WeTransfer or TransferNow.
Print ready artwork should be supplied with 3mm bleed and a resolution of no less than 300dpi with all relevant links and fonts supplied, embedded or outlined. There may be a delay if there are missing fonts. For images to print clearly we recommend a minimum of 300dpi.
Don’t worry if you don’t understand any of the above – give us a call or email over your artwork and we can take a look.

We accept files in most major formats including PDF, EPS, PNG, JPG, INDD, AI, PSD.

COLOURS
It’s worth noting that while RGB images look vivid on screen these images will be converted to CMYK which can alter their appearance significantly. It’s important to recognise that printed colours are never as bright as the colours you see on your screen. If you require a printed proof then please inform us before we print the full run.
As you can see from the images below CMYK colours aren’t as vibrant as the RGB displayed by your computer or phone’s screen.

BLEED & CROP MARKS
All artwork should have 3mm bleed if you require the image to bleed off the edge of the paper.
Within this example you can see that the duck image needs to extend 3mm past the edge of the page (blue box) and into the bleed area (red box). The red area is then trimmed off after printing, this ensures the image goes to the very edge of the sheet.
Please ensure that artwork is supplied at the correct finished size. If this is not possible, please inform us to allow time for amending the artwork.

If you have any questions regarding artwork please contact Josh to discuss your project josh@ppcarlisle.co.uk.
